my email shows unread email and i don't have any

My Apple email has four accounts in it (gmail, live, yahoo and me.com). On my dock and next to my live email it shows 19 unread emails. I do not have any unread email...I have tried rebuilding all email accounts and I have also deleted my keychain accesses and logged back in...I also cannot get my calendars to sync...I have tried through itunes and other suggestions.
