charger is plug but doesn't show status
My charger is currently plugged and it has the orange light on but the battery status doesnt show it charging. is this a problem?

What does your battery status say?
Is it shown as 0% or an 'X'?
It could simply be a problem with the battery. Try resetting the PMU
