Truth of the matter, it's probably user error that caused this to happen. Or, in the rare instance that the Restart, Reset, Restore doesn't help, Apple will talk to you about options for service.
However, if you expect your technology to work without fail, and are unwilling to try and remedy this issue on your own and with support from a community of people who post (for free) to help you out, then by all means, go to Samsung. And if you do, good luck with their customer service.
If I restart, reset, restore - then the call is off, certainly. The idea is able to pick up the phone.
Just to put in the perspective, if we search in google "iphone, unlock, freeze, hang" then you will find this is a common problem. How could that construe to be users' fault?
