How to do reset to make super drive work

Not long ago. i got hold of Apple on the phone , they gave me a re set , About 5 different key's to press for 60 sec. then restar..

Its fixed the super drive to burn 8.5GB dvd's Its started happening again. You know the story, how many of us have this problem. And I know your Not MAC

However if this is so Why is it all linked to APPLE MAC?

However back to this re start. i went tp mac Borneo, they gave me Press Option command and R+P when re starting. it worked once , but again same thing, aftert he fist sccesful burn,

Im sure the other re set was different as i had to hold the keys for 60sec.

Could you please tell me how to reset
