there is no sim tray for my iphone so i wanted to know how this piece works, the previous carrier was verizon and now i want to add vodafone as my carrier how will i be able to do that or in that case would i possibly be able to take any other carrier on my phone plz reply i live in India

CDMA phones store all connection information in firmware. The only way to move that CDMA phone to another CDMA phone service provider is to get the new provider to flash the firmware with their settings, and no CDMA provider in the USA will do that or ever has.
That phone will never connect to any other network than Verizon's with a Verizon plan.
Page Plus is a US carrier. The OP lives in India.
verizon phones are cdma - they dont use sim cards - i know the iPhone 5 is world phone so even the cdma models have sim trays - not sure about the 4S - i know the iphone 4 came in 2 different models - one with a sim tray and one without
hey thanks guys that helps me, but does not solve the prob u see, m still wondering how dis piece works it should have a serial no or sumthing like the sim cards have like the 16 digit no that a sim has trough which it gets its 9 or 10 digit phone number
cmda is another cellphone network type then gsm (which is the one that use sim cards)
if non of the carriers in your country use cdma but only gsm (2g, 3g, 4g) then you will never be able to use the phone
That's a CDMA iPhone 4, not a 4S. It can only be used on the CDMA network it was originally sold for. You can't use that phone outside of the US at all.
It is a CDMA phone. CDMA does not use SIM cards. You can NOT use it on any carrier other than the one it was originally sold for.
from the Apple web page - it says that the 4S is a world phone so it should have a sim slot - it would be on th left - if there is not on there you may have an iPhon4 not a 4S
The model number the OP gave in the title (A1349) indicates it's a CDMA iPhone 4.
Even with another CDMA carrier, the OP stil can't use that iPhone, Rudegar. The iPhone 4 is locked to Verizon.

Actually, you can use this phone with page plus which uses the verizon network. They are pre-paid and have some good plans. You don't have to have it flashed or anything.
how does iphone 4s model no A1349 work without a sim? cause i cant find a sim tray on it
