Time Capsule only Wireless?

I'm going over seas soon and I won't always have good internet for a wireless connection. Can I move data from my macbook to my time capsule without the wireless network? I'm mostly concerned about using my time capsule for an external harddrive.

The Time Capsule will always need WiFi, but you seem to be confused between WiFi and the Internet. WiFi is simply a local area network, it is not reliant on the speed of your Internet connection.
