Mar 5, 2013 12:44 PM in response to Old Toadby iGram,Thanks, OT.
I tried your suggestion. No luck. I DO get the photos in a folder called March 2013 Photo Stream in Library>Events. However, under the heading Web>Photo Stream, I get the yellow box that tells me how to get started with Photo Stream ... not the 1000 most recent photos like I did before.

Mar 5, 2013 2:46 PM in response to LarryHNby iGram,Thank you LarryHN. I looked at the FAQs and trouble shooting before posting my problem. I actually do have pictures showing up in Photo Stream, but not in the Web folder.

Mar 5, 2013 3:41 PM in response to LarryHNby iGram,LH ... the article on resetting has been removed. I searched around and found instructions on another help site. Turns out when I go to iCloud.com and my account, there is no longer an Advanced button to click.
Can't find another way to reset PS. -
Mar 5, 2013 3:52 PM in response to iGramby LarryHN,News to me but it appears the advanced option was recently removed - try turning it off on all devices and logging out of iCloud - logging back in and turning PS on again
Your device will keep up to 1000 photos, even if they are older than 30 days. Photos older than 30 days are removed from the iCloud server, so all devices may not have the same photos, depending on when you enabled Photo Stream.
If you'd prefer to have only the most current photos in Photo Stream on each of your devices (and, delete the older photos):
- Save any photos that are not already in your Camera Roll. Learn more about backing up your Camera Roll.
- Disable (My) Photo Stream in Settings > iCloud by moving the slider for (My) Photo Stream to OFF. Confirm that you wish to Delete Photos.
- Next, re-enable Photo Stream by moving the slider to the ON position. iCloud will automatically push your stored photos to your device.
- Repeat these steps for each device.
And note that the iCloud servers only hold the last 30 day's photos - so any photo that is over 30 days old could have been imported but no longer be in the PS - could that be it?

Mar 5, 2013 4:18 PM in response to iGramby Old Toad,Try the following:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete iPhoto's cache file, Cache.db, that is located in your
User/Home/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder (Snow Leopard and Earlier).
or with Mt. Lion from the User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto/
Data/Library/Caches/com.apple.iPhoto folder3 - launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: If you're moved your library from its default location in your Home/Pictures folder you will have to point iPhoto to its new location when you next open iPhoto by holding down the Option key when launching iPhoto. You'll also have to reset the iPhoto's various preferences.
NOTE 2: In Lion and Mountain Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
Then check the iPhoto/Photo Stream preference pane to make sure the necessary checkboxes are checked.

Mar 5, 2013 5:30 PM in response to Old Toadby iGram,Larry ... I've taken new photos with my iPhone to see if new pics show up. They do in the March 2013 folder but not in My Photo Stream.
OT ... unhid the Library and deleted the files. Sadly, that didn't work, either.
