How do I move my itunes media to an external drive. I am out of space on the notebook
I am using a pc and am maxed out on drive space. Would like to know how to move my media files to a new external drive
- Quit iTunes.
- Copy the entire /Music/iTunes/ folder to the external.
- Hold Shift and launch iTunes *.
- Select Choose library....
- Select the iTunes folder on the external.
*Make sure the external is on and mounted before launching iTunes.
