I have AppleCare+, and my friend wants to know something.
Does the AC+ cover breaking the ipad in half, shattering of glass with a hammer, or dipping in acid? As in if he did any of those, can I bring it in and get a new one for $50?

Applecare Plus only covers accidental damage not intentional damage.
Tell your friend to read his AppleCare + warranty.
But how would they tell if its accidental or not?
The hammer would leave a mark, breaking it in half likewise and it would take a whale of a story to explaing dipping it in acid.
