CANNOT UNINSTALL GOOGLE CHROME

I am about to go crazy; have tried this 6 times now. I just want to completely UNinstall Google Chrome so that I can then REinstall it, as the version of Chrome on my Mac now is messed up; it keeps asking to 'store keychain info' relating to my boyfriend's e-mail & password; when I say 'Deny' it doesn't open bookmarks etc properly. It's totally confused. I just want to start again with a totally 'clean' version. I have dragged every single thing I can find with 'Google' on it to the trash can; I've gone into my 'hidden' library folder & deleted every Google folder or file in there; including everything in the Cache folder. I've verified there is NOTHING left anywhere that says 'Google or 'Chrome' - re-start my Mac; download a fresh version of Chrome - and hey guess what - it opens with all of my bookmarks & tabs saved as before, as it nothing has happened!! What IS this creepy thing; it's like some kind of horrible cockroach application that will never ever leave my computer! Can anyone please tell me HOW to completely uninstall it? Is there some other hidden folder where it is hiding...?
