Swiss cell phone number on my iphone - how to switch from German to French?

Hello, I have a Swiss cell phone number on my iphone. When I try to use the app store, it insists I register my country as Switzerland. When I do that the language switches to German. Now only a part of Switzerland is German, and its not my part. My part speaks French and that is what I want to use on my phone. Is there a way to switch the language to French, or even better, to English? thanks for help.
