Q: wifi name change

Can anyone please tell me how to change my work modem name and password without disrupting connectivity to my phone provider?

I have finally managed to get a wifi connection on my iphone4s with the basic name and password given, but I have been advised to change it, for better security, but don't know how to do.

Thanks to anyone listening.

You need to login to your router and change settings there to change the SSID and password to something other hthat the default for your brand of router.  You need to look at the manual that came with the router and see how you can access it using a web browser.  It will require an ip address  For example I can access my router by entering 192.168.0.1 in the browser address window and then a login window pops up where I enter the user name and password to gain access to the rotuer setup.

Never call geeks names. You might need their help again.
