im trying to get internet on my ipad 2 an i need the imei number but its not on the back of my ipad or the box

I believe that if your iPad is wifi only it won't have an IMEI number.

It came from walmart?
The wi-fi + cellular models have a black strip across the back at the top (see image below). If yours doesn't have this, it wi-fi only and I don't believe it will have an IMEI number.
OK thanks mine don't have a black strip so I guess its just wifi only
