when I print list from contacts, its not alphabetical.
Contacts are disappearing from my address book frequently so wanted to print a list. When I tried, it wasn't alphabetical. How do I get it to be alphabetical?
MacBook, Mac OS X (10.5.1)

If you go to your iCloud account online (at iCloud.com) and go to your contacts, it will print them out alphabetically.

Gobsmacked by this loss of capability in the latest upgrade. Yes, you can use iCloud, but cannot specify any fields - this is a step backwards. To be unable to print a list in alphabetical order from any contacts database is unbelievable. Maybe if Contacts would allow cvs export, or say, ANY format other than Vcard, I could work around this. Anyway, at least I can stop wasting time trying to figure out what I did wrong. Will file "bug report" with Apple.
It's a bug in Contacts. You can file feedback here.
it appears today's 10.8.3 update FINALLY fixed the contacts list printing to be in alpha order!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
See... Apple listens to feedback 🙂
