Right Earpod BARELY outputting sound

Hey there, as you may know, the indentations in Apple earpods collect a bit of ear wax over time. The other day, i stuck the stem of a leaf into the indentation of my right apple earpod to clean it out. After successfully cleaning it out, i put it in my ear to listen to music. I didn't hear any music, so i turned the volume up all the way. After i did that, i could barely hear anything coming out of the right one, whilst the left one was perfectly fine. The weird part is, i can hear it perfectly fine when i twist it into a very painful and annoying position in my ear. PLEASE HELP. i don't know if i can fix it, or get new ones replaced, but these are just as good as a 300 dollar pair of headphones i have. i am already sad at the loss.
