The backup disk image “/Volumes/Data/Mark Thng, M.D.’s Computer.sparsebundle” is already in use - This message keeps appearing when I try to back up data on iMac with Time Capsule. My last successful backup was 2/18/2013.

First, restart the computer and the Time Capsule. In most of the cases, this will solve that problem.
