email issues

I've entered my hotmail address and it wants to download 16000+ emails.

Apparently when I deleted them originally on my previous mac they didn't delete from hotmail.

Ive left my mac on for about 16hours over night hoping they would be downloaded and i could deleate them in the morining but no such luck.

It just keeps telling me theres more to down load.

ANY help would be GREATLY appreciated
