Lion MacBook Performance Slow On Battery

Hi,

Few days ago I dropped water on my laptop and I managed to fix it, things are fine now. However, I notice that the performance on my MacBook is very slow and annoying when it is working on Battery.. and its very smooth, fine and fast enough when it is connected to power.

I use my laptop in my business trip and presentations and most of the time working on battery, with this performance its very bad.

Any ideas on how to fix this issue?
