Can i request apple to unlock iPhone 3GS?

I bought Iphone 3GS form ebay and i am stuck on iOS 6.1.2 . I dont know which carier it is locked for. Can Apple unlock this iphone?





--Please Help.

Sorry, no. Apple does not unlock iPhones. Only the carrier your phone is locked to can authorize such. However, most carriers will not authorize unlocking unless you are a current/former customer.


You can call AppleCare to determine what carrier your phone os locked to. They will charge you for the call, US $30.
