Do you have a Mac plugged by ethernet into the TC?

Let me suggest this is often much easier to do in isolation..

So pull the TC and plug it into a Mac.. Lan port of TC to the computer. No other connection on the TC.. turn off wireless so there is no other connection on the Mac.

Do a factory reset of the TC.. ie hold in reset before you power it on.. power on .. do not release reset for around 10sec until the front led flashes rapidly. Release reset.

Open the airport utility and setup the TC. put it in bridge. Set up the wireless with the names you want.

Update the TC and plug it back into the network.

    All should now work.

Yes, I did all these things and the only thing that was missing is I needed to setup Shraing in Internt & Wireless. I noticed that this was not correctly set, had to turn on Ethernet and then it worked after I did the process you discribed above. I did not have to disconnect the disconnect the computer from the WiFi just run the factory default routine again.

thanks for taking the time to answer my question. Even if I ended up doing a bit differently.

There is no right way.. there are many ways to skin the proverbial cat.. I try to suggest a way that is guaranteed to work in every situation.. and for anybody.. but the basics of how to do the setup is what works!!

Glad you got it all going.
