Q: iCloud email address

i can't send or receive from my @mac.com account.

@me.com and @iCloud.com everything is fine.

Do i need to set up anything, I was told by iCloud that these 3 address's were saved for me.

Thanks,

Well, for those that had an something@mac.com address, something@me.com and something@icloud.com addresses should all function the same.

Go to icloud.com, sign in with your apple id (which could be any of the previously mentioned), then click Mail.  Then click the gear in the upper right >> preferences >> accounts.  With iCloud selected on the left (likely you're only entry unless you setup aliases), on the main part of the window, does it show the @mac.com address under Email Addresses?

If it does, try composing a message directly from the website and see if that works.

You can also check the Composing tab and make sure there is a checkmark beside that @mac address.  If there wasn't, and you check it, it will take a few minutes to update on your computer.
