How do you indent lists using an external keyboard

I like to organise my notes into numbered list format, I,A,1,a,i etc. So I move the indent of paragraphs back and forward alot.

Is there anyway to do this using an external keyboard. In other writing app you usually just tap tab but this does not indent the list in pages. I have tried variations of the function,option, control, command with the tab and [ ] keys but none worked.

Even if someone knows this isnt possible I would appreciate a response

I don't know for certain, but i strongly suspect that it won't work. Aside from a few exceptions, all key combos using the Function, Option, Control, Command or Tab keys have been disabled on the ipad (at least in Pages) using an external keyboard. I think you're going to have to take your hands off the keyboard & hit the little indent (or un-indent) key on the screen in order to do that.
