my iphone 5 fell off and now the screen is frozen and has 5 white kind of pink lines and there some not so clear color lines (green-red-??) and i shut it down and charged it but still frozen since morning !! and it didn't even fall that hard! coz i was holding the headphones!! HELP !! ๐

Sounds like the LCD pins came loose or you cracked LCD. Take in for repair. You can try doing a hard boot by being at home screen . Hold down power and home button at the same time until phone shuts off.
i did shut it down but still the same , and if i took for re-pair , would they fix it right away or would it take a while ๐ ?? thanks X

I'm sorry the original poster's problem wasn't solved, but it did solve a similar problem I had with my 4s.
The only difference was that I was getting no screen, just black. I could hear the phone if it rang or any other alert sounds that would occur, I just couldn't seen any graphics.

if u meant by hard boot the "Hold down power and home button at the same time until phone shuts off." then yeah i did ๐ and i went to ask they said it's a problem with the LCD like u said ! i have to pay more than 250$ so they can fix it !!! i'll go tomrrow and give them my iphone coz i have no other choice ๐ thanks for ur help !

You can purchase LCD and digitizer combos if you are capable of fixing it for around 40 there are people on Craigslist who can fix it probably a lot cheaper.

Fair warning: If anyone other than Apple touches your phone, you not only void all warranty/support, you also void the right to an out of warranty replacement, should the need ever arise. In other words, Apple will just hand the phone back to you & tell you that you are on your own.
i know that ๐ but i don't live in the US , i live in Saudi and here until now apple is not officially here! there are 3 official companies that take from apple and bring the iphones here ,, and for other products we buy them for not official but worth trusty shops but it's more expensive than in the US !! i think apple should come here !! coz EVERYONE here has an iphone!! i swear!! and A LOT of ppl has a laptop for apple !! and WHO DOESN'T have an ipod or-and an ipad !!! there r a lot of apple freaks here !! and i'm one of them ๐ !! i mean here in my family we have 4 laptops from apple and 5 iphone5 and 2 iphone4s and 2 iphone4 !! and 5 ipods!! and an ipad !! ๐hopefully they open their store here soon ๐ !!
how do i get to the home screen to do a hard boot when the screen is like this? also, for the richest company ever, why does it cost $250 for a repair?
