how to enter in to DFU mode without itunes and at the same time with damaged home button?

The situation is very amberasing.

My ipod 4 g has been in recovery mode since last 2 days with frozen apple logo. The ipod is not getting detected by itunes and one bad news is that home button of the ipod is also not working.

I know how to enter in DFU mode using redsnow without using home button, but that also require itunes dectetion of device. The main problem is itunes is also not detecting the device.

Is there any way to enter DFU mode in such circumstances?
