Me and my boyfriend were texting back and forth. I sent him a text that I had typed, but then he received the text i had typed, but a partial sentence afterwards that I never sent. How does that happen? We both did screen shots of our phones and I am just wondering how this could ever happen!

You're the victim of a prank...
Go to Settings - Keyboard - the clear out the shortcut that someone put on your phone without your knowledge.
I had no short cuts in my settings. I am just confused because my text is exactly what I typed and he received something completely different
Sorry I have seen similar before and it was always a prank.
Well, it isn't Apple's iMessage since your conversation is SMS. Perhaps your carrier can explain what happened.
