Trying to burn an old dvd project

I have a project from many years ago, which included a main video, some extras, and a slideshow. There is music on the menu screen as well.

I get this error message: "There were errors during the project validation that have to be fixed before burning the project."

When I open the little triangle in the dialog box, it says, "there appears to be a broken asset in your project". But when I go to the DVD map, everything appears to be there. I can put the project in motion and all of the buttons work.

Any ideas?

Thank you.

Delete the encoded assets

and then save the project as a disk image

by following this workflow to help ensure the best quality final product:

Once you have the project as you want it save it as a disk image via the File ➙ Save as Disk Image menu option. This will separate the encoding process from the burn process.

To check the encoding mount the disk image and launch DVD Player and play it. If it plays OK with DVD Player the encoding was good.

Then burn to disk with Disk Utility or Toast at the slowest speed available (2x-4x) to assure the best burn quality. Always use top quality media: Verbatim, Maxell or Taiyo Yuden DVD-R are the most recommended in these forums.
