Q: Not able to connect to wireless

I have a Macbook Pro 10.8.2 that connects w/o a problem to the wireless router. I bought a Powerbook G4 10.4.11 and when I try to connect it gives the error -

"There has been an error joining the Airport network MOTOROLA-C8A83"

It connects via the ethernet wire only.

Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Thank you

Jerry

Turn the router Off by disconnecting the power cord for at least 30 sec. The restart the router and hopefully you'll connect.

Tom, Thanks for trying but it did not help.

I went into the Internect connection and by going into 801.1x I was able to connect to the router but not the internet ???

I also went in and tried each (WEP WPA etc.) security to the next and still nothing.

So I am totally lost as to why it's connected to and recognizes the router and even list it's id number but it won't connect to the internet?
