I haven't updated my ipod touch in a about 1 1/2 years and now it says i have to update to ios5. I've also used more than one computer to upload files,music, etc. WIll any of my songs or apps be deleted after updating?

Updating to iOS 5 will erase all the content and data on your iPod touch and you'll have to resync it and, if there are setting, documents or game data you wish to keep, then restore from your most recent backup.
