Q: Apple Tv movie rental trouble

Recently when trying to rent a movie or TV show from iTunes store on my Apple TV, I seem unable to get past the main menu. When I click on the movies icon, the tv shows icon or any of the popular recommendations in the top bar, I get a pinwheel and a message that reads  "connecting to ITunes store", then it just redirects me back to the main menu. I checked all my settings and I'm signed in to my account and the wifi connection is good as Netflix and Hulu work just fine. Help!

        1.    First you should try logging out of your iTunes Store account (settings > iTunes Store > accounts) and then back in again.

        2.    If that doesn't help, try resetting the Apple TV (Settings > General > Reset > Reset all settings).You should also try restarting your router.

        3.    If both of the above don't help, you should try a restore (Settings > General > Reset > Restore).

    Got it.  I just reset the whole device and seems to be working ok now.
