my facebook icon has disappeared

All of a sudden, the Facebook icon has disappeared from my iPhone 4S. When I search in contacts, it appears, complete with icon. How do I get it back to my phone face? And why did this happen?

There is no facetime icon/app for iphone only for ipads.

Why would you searching in contact show facebook.

Just look in your other app folders or home screen or redownload the app.

Search all home screens and all folders.

If not found, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
