Q: How do I turn AirPlay on? Instructions confusing! :-/

Connect your iDevice or Mac by choosing AirPlay. See the following to set up each device to connect to your AppleTV:

I was referring to the instructions at http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5517?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US.
My Apple TV is responding properly in some ways, but I cant get the AirPlay to do anything. I will kee[ wprking on it using the Troubleshooting helps.
Hoping the new Apple TV isn't as disappointing as the old Apple TV. :-)
