Itunes - a very poor program now

Why is itunes 11 now so slow generally under win8 and also reluctant to wireless synch with 10s 6 products?

A reasonable customer expectation of improvement with each iteration of a software product is not being met by Apple.

I find this programme is now slow, clunky unstable and unreliable.

The interface looks good but the old saying "All fur coat but no knickers!" seems to sum up iTunes very well.
