'Part of a Compilaton' and 'Remember Position' buttons don't work on all albums?

'Part of a Compilaton' and 'Remember Position' buttons don't work on all albums?

Most movie soundtracks and the like have sorted fine, but a few lately don't seem to, and so when I'm in the albums tab, there's 20 different "albums" with one song each because they have different artists. I don't know why these newer uploads seem to be different. Help!?

iTunes newest-OTHER, Windows XP Pro

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.
