macbook battery life

My Macbook Pro's battery life is not very good. My computer is roughly 4 years old (I think) and the battery doesn't hold very well. I will charge it fully and it will only last around 2 maybe 3 hours even though it says longer time is remaining. I looked at my cycle count and it is at around 750. My Apple Protection Plan ends in May of this year. Should I look into getting the battery replaced? Also, Do they need to send the computer out to get the battery replaced or can they do it in store?

Thanks!

MacBook Pro (13-inch Mid 2010), Mac OS X (10.6.8)

It doesn't look damaged or something similar. If you need a bigger battery life, I recommend you to take the Mac to an Apple Store to have the battery replaced. In your case, the warranty doesn't cover the battery replacement, because your battery is normal at the moment. If the status changes before getting 1000 charges and expiring the warranty, you will get the battery replaced for free
