MacBook Pro Wifi/Internet Problems

I have a MacBook Pro (June 2012) I have been having trouble with it connecting to the internet. The wifi bars remain dark, but the internet suddenly stops responding. I constantly have to turn the wifi on and off to rectify this problem. So annoying! I sometimes have to do this every two minutes or so. It happens the most when I am watching something on netflix, hulu, or other video sites. Any help would be appreciated!

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

Sometimes - not always - a problem like this is caused by your router. In most instances, I suggest that folks unplug and/or reset (generally by unplugging the devices for 5 minutes or so) both the cable/DSL modem as well as the router. Then power up the modem again and then the router.

After you've reset both modem and router, delete any wifi preferences under System Preferences>Network. Then use the "Assist Me" button to create a new wifi connection.

If that doesn't work, call back...
