how do i get a vat receipt?

I've just bought the iworks suite and need a propper receipt.

I used to enjoy using the apple store and itunes for shopping but it is getting unworkable.

the receipt they send isn't a vat receipt and the link doesn't work to get to <https://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZFinance.woa/wa/purchaseHistory>

There is no information in the app store on how to get a vat receipt and when I find the purchase through my apple id it doesn't show vat and won't print.

FAQ's has no information and the automated phone system is impossible.

I also seem to need to sign in at least 5 times to do anything at all. It makes me want to avoid buying through itunes and the app store altogether.
