Nuh - thats it for me. Turning off my GMail forwarder and ditching iCloud. Started off as a mac.com paid member about ten years ago and enough is enough. Sending and receiving email is a fundamental requirement these days. One can only wonder why Apple choose Oracle as their back end mail provider - this is insane. It's email for crying out loud !!

So yes same case here... every mail incoming our outgoing has a following mail stating "Problem during delivery processing and the following message that really worries me.

Reason: Error in sieve filter: Notify mailto: recipient is not a valid address<;

"Glad" to know it is a general issue and hope Apple will solve this quickly.

Is there an Apple rep that has acknowledged the error yet? I'm getting some of my emails marked as undeliverable however:

websites that I do business with are not sending confirmation notices for shipping as the sites themselves are finding the email address I've registered with no longer valid.

Please help ASAP! Thanks!

I'm having the same problem, but I don't fully understand what the error message means. Does this problem have any practical effect on sending/receiving email (besides the annoying notification messages)?

Having the same issue. Started this morning. There is something at the end about Proofpoint virus protection. Not just one email. Several. They all have this at the end. Several emails from the county where I live. Got the messages but also this. Anyone know about this?

Yes, I am seeing this same message. additionally, i am given a mime attachment, which I am not opening.

I hope Apple is working on this. I use this email address for my business and my personal communication and i receive important secured documents daily.

This is happening on my icloud and my me addresses.
