have I got a virus - safari keeps opening questionnaire website

hello folks,

Im getting concerned as often when I am using safari and clicking on a link a new tab opens asking me to do a questionnaire.

This page always says "consumer survery group" but has info about the website I was on before and asks questions so I can win stuff. The website listed at the top is "consumersurverygroup.org" but the website shown in the history tab is "http://www.lnksr.com" .

It is happening lots and Im concerned it might be a virus - especially because Im always telling ym friends how apple is better because ou dont need to worry about virus guard!!!

Even if its not a virus - how do i get rid of it??

Hold the "shift" key down and launch Safari.

Empty Caches

Safari > Preference > Advanced

Checkmark the box for "Show Develop menu in menu bar".

Develop menu will appear in the Safari menu bar.

Click Develop and select "Empty Caches" from the drop down.

Reset Safari.

Click Safari in the menu bar.

From the drop down select "Reset Safari".

Uncheck the box next to " Remove saved names and passwords".

Click "Reset".
