light indicator for messages
Wondering if anyone can tell me how to or if there is an indicator light that tells you there is an email, message, text... If there is how do you turn it on?
iPhone 5, iOS 6.1.2

There are several ways you can be notified of new emails and messages. One is to have a notification appear in the lock screen. Use the Settings Apps to set which type of Notification you want for each app.
Settings > Notifications
Thank you for your response wjosten -
I have that on, and that flashes on the back of the phone when it rings I believe. I am referring to on the front of the phone for when you have a missed call or voicemail or text, that sort of thing. I just switched from an HTC and on the top part of the phone there is an indicator light that blinks when you have any of those things mentioned above.
go to settings - notifications email - VIP badges and bannersand choose the alert you need you wont get alight but your phone eill make a sound og you choosing and the screen will wakeif you set it to alert you can do this with all your messages texts email etc ect
Settings>General>Accessibility>Hearing>LED light for Alerts>On.
Sorry, no, not for the front.
Ok, thanks!
You're welcome.
