Frames Per Second

Hi,

I have the brand new 2012 13" Macbook air with HD 4000 graphics 512MB

I been looking at the FPS for it. i seen an application used by a few called CineBench so i downloaded it. When running a test it says around 17FPS for my Macbook air yet i have another app installed called 'iStat Menus' which shows when im watching Videos that it runs around 30 FPS

which is correct, and if im way off what i should be looking at could you point me in the correct direction please 🙂
