Have LaCie d2 for Toast 8 on G4 but will it work for 11 on MacPro 10.8?
MacBook Pro (Retina, Mid 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2), Toast 11
Apple sells the LaCie d2 in the online store, so I see no reason why it should not work.

LaCie d2 with Toast 8 is not compatible w/OSX 10.8, period. One has to buy the d2 Blu-Ray XL which comes with ToSt 11.
Mt Lion is a 100% 64 bit OS. It may be that toast Titanium is not compatible with Mt. Lion for that reason. You might check with Roxio.com.

Called Roxio many times, they are in Phillipines and are only order takers, there doesn't seem to be anyone there who can actually discuss the product, 'not trained for it' is their response. For ex, Toast 11 Pro is suppose to comes with a Blu-ray burner but they don't know if it includes a cable or even what kind of connection to burner there is.
