Just upgraded my MacBook from Tiger to Snow Leopard iOS 10.6.8. Trying to load iWork 08 fails. The iWork disk ejects after about 30 seconds, and no thing pops up on the screen. What is wrong?

Where did you get the iWork 08 disc from? Did you check to make sure the disc is not damaged or scratched? Do you meet all of the system requirements to run iWork 8?
Have you tried using an optical drive cleaner in case a dirty drive is the cause of the issue?
Got the iWork from Amazon .. New. Other CDs load OK. What system require nets are needed to run iWork 08? Will try a cleaner as you suggested.
The system requirements should be listed right on the box that the disc came in and and listed on the paperwork inside the box.
