I have some music and was wondering does iCloud back it up

iTunes backups up your music when you sync.
To be clear, any new music you download to your device from your device will then be transferred into your iTunes Library when you sync with iTunes.
Would it backup all my music if iTunes stopped working or my computer stopped working?
Only when you sync your device with iTunes on your computer. Both must be working.
