why does my ipod touch say it cannot get a secure connection

it says it for itunes and app store --> says check time and date settings but ive sorted that out

also youtube doesnot work at all. myinternet connection works on my iphone though why doesnt it work on the ipod touch

its ipod touch 2nd gen btw

make sure that the time and ate, and time zone are correct in Settings>General<Date and Time.

Reset network settings:Settings>General>Rest>Reset Network Settings. You will have to rejoin all networks.
