hi when i went to unbox softwhere i get this "sory,Expander will not work without the stuffit engine. please reinstall from the original installer" i don't have the mac os 9.2.2 install disk

It means from the original Stuffit installer, not the OS installer.

I mean you need the original Stuffit installer you used to install Stuffit. If you don't have it, then you may well be out of luck finding one given how old the product is that you are using
