Mainstage seems unable to find my QX49 midi keyboard

I've used it with ableton, but now that im starting to use mainstage i just cant find out what to do. The support for this keyboard is more or less non existent when it comes to mainstage. For ableton i had to copy and paste a file into abletons package contents but i have no idea where to begin for mainstage.
Any and all comments would be really appreciated. The keyboard does not show up in preferences>midi and i kind of gave up as im not experienced with midi inputs (but have experienced ease with my audio interface)
