Q: RAM Questions
I got 8GB Ram (2x4GB) on my iMac.
in the window "About this mac" it says that my rams are "1333 MHz DDR3"

I wanna buy 2x4GB more since I use many heavy programs at the same time and it gets slow,
I went to search RAM type "1333 MHz DDR3" on google and found "1333 MHz DDR3 ECC SDRAM"
(Link: http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC728G/A/apple-memory-module-4gb-1333mhz-ddr3- ecc-sdram-1x4gb )
QUESTIONS ARE...
1.- What's the diference between those two?
2.- Can I use the "ECC SDRAM" one?
3.- What's ECC SDRAM?
4.- What RAM do you suggest to me?
Keep in mind most of the time I got open at the same time programs such as:
Maya 2013, Adobe After Effects, Boujou, also firefox and such little things.
THANKS!

You need:
| Maximum Memory | 32 GB (Actual) 16 GB (Apple) |
|---|---|
| Memory Slots | 4 - 204-pin PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) DDR3 SO-DIMM |
Do not use ECC RAM. You can purchase the required type of memory at OWC or DataMem, both of whom have memory specifically for Mac models like yours.
