Hi,
I am getting this error since recently when I am using my MBP:
"Because a USB device was drawing too much power from your computer..."
The 'funny' thing: there is no USB device attached to the computer (only power and monitor cables).
Why is this happening and what could I do about it?
Appreciate your ideas?

Thank you! I have resetted the SMC (and also the PRAM) and, much to my own surprise, this seems to have indeed fixed the problem. Fortunately, I as was suspecting hardware issues...
Boing! Happy, not... The pop-ups are back, more annyoing (more frequent) than ever.
Can I disable the popups in any way (since I apparently cannot fix the underlying problem)? And/or disable the USB ports?
No. The machine needs to be serviced.
