Serial Number Not Correct

When I enter the serial number, found on the bottom of the Thunderbolt display, in the registration fields it is not accepted. I have checked the number three times and I have it correct. I talked to Apple Support and they asked me to get a screen shot of the SN in "About This Mac" but I cannot find it there. Any ideas?

I called AppleCare and sent them screen shots and a photograph of the seriel number. I recieved one call back that they were working on it and then never heard from them again. I tried recontacting them again without success. So, I tried registering again and it worked this time but the system says the display is out of the warranty period and it is only a couple of months old. Frustrating!
