When I enter the serial number, found on the bottom of the Thunderbolt display, in the registration fields it is not accepted. I have checked the number three times and I have it correct. I talked to Apple Support and they asked me to get a screen shot of the SN in "About This Mac" but I cannot find it there. Any ideas?
Check on the box the screen was deliverd in, I have the same issue !! No solution yet here. There not very bright at the helpdesk ? Or you can take a screenshot of the screenfoot itself. Other prove then that I could not think of.

Same issue. I have two Thunderbolts purchased in the last 30 days. Neither serial number is being accepted by Applecare. I checked the serial numbers against some slighly older purchases and it appears the serial number format has changed. I'm guessing the change wasn't relayed over to the Applecare group.
I called AppleCare and sent them screen shots and a photograph of the seriel number. I recieved one call back that they were working on it and then never heard from them again. I tried recontacting them again without success. So, I tried registering again and it worked this time but the system says the display is out of the warranty period and it is only a couple of months old. Frustrating!
Same here. Just got a refurb with full warranty from Apple.com and the serial number isn't accepted on the website.
