How can I use logic just for it's keyboard sounds and do all my sequenceing in my mpc2000xl, and and use the logic instruments threw midi channels 1-16?

connect the midi out of your mpc to the midi in on the interface connected to logic...In the logic environment create a new multi instrument and make it correspond to the midi interface port connexion u just made. Now open a software instrument and insert the synth u wanna use. From the newly created multi instr. drag the cable(make sure u have "View Cables" selected in the environment view menu) of e.g. channel one to the inserted audio instrument - Then set e.g. the track of the mpc to midi out A and and play -

U may wanna set ur mster keyboar to the midi in of the mpc - if not u will easily get a midi loop going on.....

I work just like u described u wanna work - doing all my seq in the mpc and I am using logic as a audio unit host - The mpc timing is superior to Logic's and any other DAW outhere....

ok I am in the environment window, I have the mpc2000xl connected to midi port 1 on my digi 002, I made a new multi instrument(witch is number 1-16) and it is set to midi port 1, I connected the multi instrument to intrument 1 (es1) with the cable, but when I send a midi signal from midi A on the mpc I get nothing from the instrument 1 (es1)? Is there something I'm missing?
